A LITTLE ROUTINE. FEWER HOUSEHOLD PLOT TWISTS.

Home Care Calendar

Your home has a maintenance department. Unfortunately, it appears to be you. Let us give it a manageable schedule.

Build a routine you can actually return to

Choose what your home includes, build a recurring plan and mark tasks completed. Adjust the dates and intervals to your household and the equipment instructions. The goal is a useful next step, not a spreadsheet that starts judging your weekends.

Choose your household

Add the appliances, pets and plants that belong in your plan. Your imaginary second dishwasher does not need a reminder.

Keep the timing realistic

Change planning intervals and first due dates. Completing a task moves its next due date forward from the completion day.

Keep the plan handy

Your plan saves in this browser. Print it or export recurring events to your personal calendar; set any alerts in your calendar app.

Routine intervals are starting points, not universal maintenance requirements. Follow the equipment, material and local requirements. Daily cleanup, urgent faults and dryer lint-screen care must not wait for a recurring task.

Home Care Calendar FAQ

Are the default intervals fixed maintenance rules?

No. They are editable planning starting points. Equipment manuals, material care and applicable requirements take priority. This calendar is a helpful assistant, not a replacement for the manual you put somewhere very sensible and immediately forgot.

What happens when I mark a task completed?

The tool records today's date and calculates the next due date using that task's interval. You can undo today's completion. Updating your household choices preserves existing task settings and recent completion history.

Can I change the interval or first due date?

Yes. Open “Task settings,” choose days, weeks or months, and save. The first due date applies before any completion is recorded; after that, the latest completion date anchors the next due date. You can pause a task that does not belong in the current plan.

Does this remind me to water every plant on schedule?

The plant task is an inspection reminder. Check moisture, drainage and species needs; water only when appropriate. Your cactus and your fern have not signed the same hydration agreement.

How does calendar export work?

Export an .ics file and import it into a calendar app that supports that format. Active tasks become recurring all-day events. Set alerts in that app if wanted. Exported events follow a fixed schedule; they do not sync with later webpage completions or edits. Check for duplicates before importing again.

Where is the plan saved?

In the current browser on this device. Clearing site data can remove it, and other devices do not automatically share it. If browser storage is unavailable, the tool still works during this visit; print or export your plan to keep a copy.

Which tasks should not wait for the calendar?

Clean the dryer lint screen every time the dryer is used, following its instructions. Address spills and immediate hazards when they occur. Alarm testing and equipment maintenance should follow their instructions and relevant guidance; a future calendar date is not permission to ignore a current problem.

Do I need to buy the suggested products?

No. Use suitable supplies you already have. Links are optional examples for the selected tasks, and the illustrated guides offer further reading. The calendar is organizing the chores, not secretly recruiting your cupboard into a shopping club.
